Wow! What a concert!

On Friday 12th October the eight voiced chamber choir, Mosaic, treated us to their sublime "a cappella" repertoire.  The selection of music focused on themes of love, loss and remembrance, with the first half featuring a variety of classical pieces spanning the 16th to the 20th century whilst in the second half they sang a variety of more modern pieces. Sometimes we were enthralled by their beautiful, rich, soaring harmonies, at others by their cleverly staged and dramatic renditions of songs. Then, to finish, a Finnish (get it?) folk song which was huge fun and showed that not only do Mosaic sing magnificently - they're all pretty good at counting too!!
Bravo!
