St. Helen's Church, set at the heart of the market town of Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire, is an historic and attractive 15th century building. Why not view our Church Guide below which you can pick up in the church, open every day from 9am until 5pm, whilst exploring its wonderful historic and splendid interior. You may wish to sit quietly to rest and reflect, or join us at one of our weekly services or frequent fellowship and community events.

Carol Service -The next of our special services for the Advent and Christmas season is this Sunday, 17th December at 6.30pm, when we have our traditional candlelit Carol Service, '9 Lessons & Carols', where the Christmas story is told through readings and music.


Soul Food - Are You in your 20's or 30's? Do you like Great Food? Do you Enjoy Lively Discussion with Friendly People Like You?
Then come and join us at Soul Food on Monday 11th December, 7.30 - 9.30 in the Community Heritage Centre, for an opportunity for engaging conversations over a meal, reflecting on Life's Big Questions.

Other Special Services in December
Christmas Eve - Children’s carols and nativity  5pm -a loud, lively, joyful re-enactment of the nativity story, with lots of congregational participation. A wonderful time for all the family. Come dressed as a character from the nativity (+ Christmas jumpers for Mums and Dads, Grans and Grandads!)
Christmas Eve - Midnight mass 11.30pm our first Christmas celebration of Holy Communion at midnight:
peaceful, stirring, inspiring.
Christmas Morning - Communion at 10.30am - a service for all ages. Feel free to bring along one of your Christmas presents to show us!
New Year’s Eve - Compline 7pm

The Pilgrim Course, usually on Wednesdays, 7.15 – 8.45 in the Community Heritage Centre, is taking a few weeks off and begins again on 3rd January 2018.

Brunch on Sunday - What could be nicer than having someone cook you a bacon butty on a Sunday morning? Just come along on the first Sunday of each month from 9.15, for brunch in our new Community Heritage Centre, followed by All-Age Worship at 10.30. Our next one is 7th January, when we will be cooked for and served by the young people of PRG.
