Heritage Talks 2018/2019 

Our winter series of Heritage Talks on the first Monday in every month from October to March.

This year's topics were 'Fiddle or Not!', a history of the violin in church music by Peter Rose, the story of the Grace Dieu Priory Heritage Drama Project from local film maker Wendy Freer, Layers of Leicestershire - uncovering the past through a thousand years of place names by Rebecca Gregory, The Archaeology of the English Civil War in Leicestershire by Peter Liddle and 'Hot off the Press!', a series of up to the minute discoveries about St Helen's from our own research team.
