Mothers' Union

St. Helen's branch has at present 30 members who meet monthly on each third Tuesday morning, often welcoming speakers with interesting and varied topics.

At least one meeting a year will be spent in some form of quiet reflection. A smaller more informal evening group meets twice each month.

The members also enjoy frequent fundraising activities in order to support financially the pledge to 'care for the needs of families worldwide', one such need is covered by the 'Away From It All' scheme which provides a break for those experiencing stressful times with no opportunity of a family holiday.

The branch feels privileged to be able to present a bible to each couple married at St. Helen's.

We are always happy to see new faces and extend a warm welcome to anyone wishing to learn more about the organisation.
