Hello Heritage - September 2022 

For the third year in a row, North West Leicestershire offered to print a Hello Heritage banner for us free of charge. All we had to do was provide words and pictures and they would do the rest. This year, the national theme for Hello Heritage was 'astounding inventions,' so we had a look around the church and came up with a few. 

The banner was then hung from the churchyard gates alongside our banners from 2020 and 2021.

 
This year, we were also able to invite people into the church to look around. Stewards were in the church all day on 10th September, welcoming visitors. Although the day was subdued this year, taking place during the mourning period for the late Queen Elizabeth II, they were able to welcome people coming in as part of the annual 'ride & stride,' those wishing to have some quiet time and sign the Book of Condolence and visitors wishing to explore the church's rich heritage.
